    Here's How to Pick Your Durometer

    Your engine mount durometer determines how stiff the mounts are. Softer mounts (62A) absorb more vibration but they allow more engine movement. Stiffer mounts (94A and aluminum) reduce engine movement but they transmit way more vibration into your chassis. If you're daily driving your EK, get the 62A mounts. They're the softest and they absorb the most vibration. Your car'll feel close to stock at idle. If you're doing occasional track days but you're still driving your car on the street, get the 70A mounts. They're stiffer than 62A but they're still streetable. If you're tracking your car regularly and you don't care about vibration, get the 88A or 94A mounts. If you're building a full race car that's trailered to the track, get the solid aluminum mounts. They don't absorb any vibration. Your whole car'll vibrate at idle.
